Dr. Murphy is the Medical Director of Pediatric Rehabilitation for Sanford Health Systems in Bismarck North Dakota and Bemidji Minnesota. He is also the CEO and Chief Medical Officer for Northland Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine L.L.C. a private practice consulting service for Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine. His clinical expertise includes pediatrics, adults with childhood-onset disability, musculoskeletal medicine/ultrasound, neuromuscular and brain injury medicine. His practice is rural in nature and includes service to 8 different Native American reservations in northern Minnesota and western North Dakota. He holds subspecialty certification in Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine. He has the privilege of serving presently as a Board Director on the ABPM&R and is the present Chair of the Stakeholder Council for the ABMS (American Board of Medical Specialties). He has been granted the honor of serving as editor of Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine, principles and practice, 6'th edition.
