This session will feature the 2022 top submitted poster/abstracts to the AAPM&R Annual Assembly in Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine. The Foundation of PM&R Dr. Molnar Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine Research Grant Award Winner from 2020 will present outcome data from the respective research completed during the previous two years. An expert in the Field of Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine will lead a question and answer period following each research presentation. As a compliment to the research presentations, the Foundation of PM&R, Dr. Molnar Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine, Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient from 2021 will present on the state of the field, positive and evolving trends, lessons learned over an accomplished medical career, while highlighting future pathways to success.

Learning Objectives:

Practice evidence based and informed physiatric care for the child and young adult with physical disability.
Discuss recent research relevant to physiatrists specializing in Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine.
Articulate trends in Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine to include implications for future clinical practice and research opportunities.
Promote evidence based medicine, advocacy, teamwork, physician wellness, diversity, equity and inclusion within an ever changing healthcare environment.
