Dr. Ayah Koleilat, DDS, is currently a second-year pediatric dental resident at the University at Buffalo, in Buffalo, New York. Dr. Koleilat is originally from Bismarck, North Dakota but pursued her undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of Detroit Mercy in Detroit, Michigan. In 2015, Dr. Koleilat graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and shortly after, attended the University of Detroit School of Dentistry.
Dr. Koleilat graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 2019, and was inducted as a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor's Society Nu Nu Chapter. She was also the recipient of the Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Pre-Doctoral Student Award, the School of Dentistry Community Service Award and the International Student Service Leadership Award.
Dr. Koleilat is grateful for the experiences and training she has gained throughout residency. Her goal is to always create positive experiences for patient's and their families and promote life-long oral health and wellness. Dr. Koleilat is very excited to start her journey as a Pediatric Dentist, and is grateful for the opportunity to become a member of the AAPD.
