Dhruv Puri, MD, is a Urology Resident at the University of California, San Diego Health. His clinical focus spans trauma and reconstructive urology, urologic oncology, and the role of social determinants in surgical outcomes. Dr. PURI has led multi-institutional studies on ureteral reconstruction and post-nephroureterectomy chronic kidney disease, producing over 30 peer-reviewed publications and presenting at national and international meetings. A dedicated educator and mentor, he served as President of the World Health Organization Intern Board and Vice Chair of the AMA Medical Student Section, where he organized research showcases and student leadership programs. He holds a B.S. in Molecular & Cellular Biology from UC Berkeley.
