Dr. Gilbert has worked at CityMatCH and been involved in the development and dissemination of PPOR since 2004. She has written articles on PPOR and provided training and technical assistance for hundreds of data analysts and health departments over the years. Dr. Gilbert received a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Nebraska and worked as a quality assurance engineer before obtaining a master’s degree in statistics from the University of Iowa. She recently completed her PhD at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, with coursework in the UNMC College of Public Health and a dissertation on vital records data quality and a new national PPOR analysis.
