Aniruddha Katre is a Staff Software Engineer at Rain where he focuses on autonomy system design and software. He previously worked at Aurora Flight Sciences in a variety of roles such as a subject matter expert on multi-vehicle autonomy and human machine teaming, leading technical program execution, program management for internal and external collaborative R&D efforts, and a multi-disciplinary software engineer. Aniruddha has designed, implemented, and flight tested autonomy software for fixed-wing and rotorcraft ranging from a Group 1 to Group 5 Unmanned Aerial System. Aniruddha is passionate about maturing and deploying innovative technology and brings his experience with uncrewed aircraft and autonomous systems to Rain to help solve the wildfire problem.
