An influential leader has the ability to elevate thinking and sway opinions, and influence is an essential leadership skill. Learn about five leadership styles in the situational influence model: persuading, asserting, bridging, attracting and moving away, and understand how to use each to accomplish daily tasks, build relationships, solve problems, and inspire ownership. Gain an understanding of your own styles of influence and learn to cultivate styles to reach both short- and long-term goals.
Learning Objectives:
Participants will gain an understanding of the situational influence model’s five behavioral styles, and explore ways to use these styles in various situations, with staff, peers, parents and other stakeholders.
