Nicole Augustine is an Advanced Implementation Specialist for the Opioid Response Network. She is the owner of RIZE Consultants, a business focused on providing advisory solutions that increase performance and prioritize diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environments. Nicole has served as the Prevention Director for the Addiction Professionals of North Carolina, the Prevention Coordinator for the Southeast Prevention Technology Transfer Center, and the Director of the North Carolina Behavioral Health Equity Initiative. Nicole received her B.A. in Sociology from Cornell University and her Master of Public Health from The George Washington University School of Public Health. Throughout her career in public health, she has focused her work on understanding health disparities and social inequality. Her focus is on inspiring collective action as a means of driving community change and improved health outcomes. Nicole is a passionate public health practitioner with experience providing strategic planning services to address community substance misuse issues.
