Kisha Winston-Watkins, MBA, LCSW-C, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with almost 20 years of clinical and administrative experience ensuring Baltimore City adults have access to MAT services. Currently, Kisha is the Associate Director of Adult Services at Behavioral Health System Baltimore, Baltimore City’s local behavioral health authority. As Associate Director, Kisha coordinates a team that oversees and addresses access to care, quality of care, and integration issues for the continuum of the Public Behavioral Health System. This includes providing innovative leadership in the service delivery of several MAT service projects in Baltimore City, such as the Baltimore Buprenorphine Initiative, Emocha, video adherence monitoring, OTP Hub & Spoke, Low Threshold Buprenorphine Access, and OUD MEETS. Kisha’s other experience is ACT Team Program Director, where she partnered with the team’s prescribers to ensure they received their DATA Waiver to offer Buprenorphine to ACT consumers. She also worked as Clinical Social Worker for an Outpatient Substance Use Disorder program. Here she provided clinical interventions for a comprehensive recovery plan for pregnant and postpartum women receiving buprenorphine.
Kisha is a Baltimore native. A graduate of Morgan State University (BSW), University of Maryland, Baltimore (MSW), and Loyola University of Maryland (MBA).
