My name is Sofiya Prilik and I work as an inpatient rehabilitation physician at NYU Langone Health/Rusk Rehabilitation. My job entails taking care of patients after cardiac and lung surgiries, advanced heart failure patients treated with LVAD, advanced lung disease patients as well post- cardiac and pulmonary transplantation patients. I studied chemistry at NYU followed by medical school at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine. I completed my medical internship at LIJ, the hospital that is now part of Northwell Health network, and my PMR residency at NYU/Rusk Rehabilitation. I live on Long Island.
