I have worked on the stroke rehabilitation unit at the University of Maryland Rehabilitation & Orthopaedic Institute, an inpatient rehabilitation facility or IRF, since 2015. Prior to this, I studied speech-language pathology at Loyola University of Maryland, completing a three year program for students coming to the field from other disciplines. During completion of my master's of science degree, I focused on adult rehabilitation, with both my clinical externships being in adult care and dysphagia management.
