Dr Kirschner was born, raised and currently resides in New York City. He is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Sports Medicine, Electrodiagnostic Medicine and is a registered musculoskeletal sonographer. He is an Associate Attending Physiatrist at the Hospital for Special Surgery, where he serves as Fellowship Director for the Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine and Sports Medicine fellowships. He is an Associate Professor of Clinical Rehabilitation Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine and sits on the executive council of the United States Bone and Joint Initiative. He is co-editor of Atlas of Image Guided Spinal Procedures 2 ed. and Atlas of Ultrasound Guided Musculoskeletal Injections. His research focus is on the outcomes of ultrasound and fluoroscopic guided interventional procedures.
