Introverted Leadership: Networking and Leadership That Works for You

This Introverted Leaders group meeting includes virtual session and in person follow-up.

Virtual session 10/13/22 will be didactic with options for self-reflection and small group/participation. Learning objectives include:
1. As a result of attending this session, participants will be able to list at least 3 statements and/or questions they can utilize in networking/meeting new people.
2. Participants will be able to discuss their perspective on their Myers-Briggs "type" related to introversion and at least one introversion strength and one challenge they see in their current work.
3. Participants will be able to define emotional intelligence in the context of leadership and complete a self reflection.
4. Participants will be able to list at least one book/reading as a resource for their own introversion leadership skills development.

The group also offers an in-person networking session on 10/20/22 with opportunities for members to (a) network in small groups ), (b) learn more about and discuss the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) introversion profiles as a sample framework; informal Q&A with Physiatrists certified in MBTI will be available, (c) contribute in writing and/or via social media ideas for opportunities and challenges for introverted leaders related to professional activities inside and outside AAPM&R, and (d) optional participation in book exchange table for leadership books members have valued and would like to share - bring a book and/or leave a book!
