Hi, my name is Amy and I am currently a second-year pediatric dental resident. I grew up in a small rural town in the Sierra Nevadas called Nevada City and had an excellent pediatric dentist growing which sparked my interest in dentistry. I decided to attend Cal Poly - SLO for college (primarily because of its proximity to the beach) and later attended the University of the Pacific for dental school. I enjoy snowboarding (with wrist guards), going to the beach and attending concerts in my free time. I am currently a resident at Children's Hospital Los Angeles and greatly enjoy working with the kids. I especially enjoy working with children with special needs and their families. During residency, I fell in love with Southern California and will be staying here after I graduate. I am going to move closer to the beach near the Torrance/Redondo Beach area and work in a private practice setting.
