Lauren Yap, DMD, MPH, is currently a second year pediatric dental resident at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. She graduated from Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry in 2019. She completed her Master of Public Health (MPH) degree through Temple College of Public Health as a dual degree student. She completed an AEGD Residency with NYU Langone in Keaau, Hawaii in 2020, prior to beginning her pediatric dental residency this year. In addition, Lauren serves as a member of the American Dental Association’s Medicaid Task force, as well as an active member promoting advocacy with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, and Pennsylvania Dental Association.
