Hello, my name is Serena Ghodasra, DMD and I am a second year resisdent at Nova Southeastern University.
I have 10 years of experience in the dental field, from working at an orthodontic practice; shadowing multiple practices including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and orthodontics; working as a dental assistant during my undergraduate studies; learning throughout my 4 years in dental school, and now as a pediatric dentistry resident. I have been an active member of my community and have led multiple events throughout my educational years including being the director for Give Kids A Smile in 2020, coordinating a STEM health fair to educate parents on the importance of oral hygiene home care for their children, and attended multiple events including A Day For Children, and provided aid with screenings on the Colgate Dentistry Mobile Van. I am a current first year pediatric dental resident at Nova Southeastern University and have been actively treating patients at all our clinics in South Florida since July 2020. I feel that my past experience in research and continued learning in treating pediatric patients will help me in completing this research.
