Dr. Cathrine Fong is a 2nd year pediatric dental resident completing her training at Children's Hospital of Los Angeles and Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC. She was born and raised in San Francisco, CA and graduated from the University of California, Davis with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Biology. She went on to earn her DDS from the University of California, Los Angeles. While at UCLA, Cathrine was inspired by the small but important changes she was able to provide for young children during her internship at a community clinic in the greater Los Angeles area. Upon graduating from UCLA, she moved across town to pursue her advanced training in pediatric dentistry at Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Cathrine remains passionate about providing great dental care to children in underserved communities and future plans after residency include working in community and private practices as well as in academic institutions around Southern California. In her free time, Cathrine enjoys traveling, baking bread, exploring new restaurant finds, and spending time with her friends and family.
