Large Animal Surgery Resident

Dr. Molly Patton, DVM is a third year large animal surgical resident at Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. After completing an bachelors degree in Animal Sciences at the University of Georgia in 2014, she moved to Raleigh where she attended North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2018. From there Dr. Patton moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana to complete a year-long rotating equine internship before matching to Virginia-Maryland CVM for a large animal surgery residency in Blacksburg, Virginia, which is where she is currently living alongside her fiancee, three dogs, and retired research horse. Dr. Patton's main interests include soft tissue surgery, especially those within the abdominal cavity.
