2023 Surgery Residency Positions 
MedVet is currently recruiting candidates for an
ACVS-registered, three-year, small animal surgical
residency program based at our flagship hospital in
Columbus, OH.
Now in its 21st year, our surgical residency program is
designed to meet and exceed ACVS specifications, while
focusing on developing industry-leading surgeons who leave
equipped with the knowledge and skill to pass the ACVS
board certification. We are very proud of the excellent
passing rate our graduates have for the ACVS board
certification examinations. Additionally, all of our residents to
date have passed their phase 1 examinations on their first
attempt. Our Columbus hospital also offers 12 specialty
departments, in addition to our exceptional surgical training,
ensuring a rare multi-specialty teaching environment for all
residents.
