She has also successfully collaborated with basic scientists to probe the molecular basis for fungal virulence and host susceptibility to invasive aspergillosis and candidemia. Dr. Alexander has lectured nationally and internationally, has authored over 185 articles, book chapters, white papers and publications for mass distribution, and is considered a thought leader in the field of transplant ID and fungal infections.
