Assistant professor
University of Zagreb Medical School
I was born in Zagreb Croatia in 1974. Besides from my senior High School year that I graduated in California, USA the rest of my education was in Zagreb. I'm a specialist in infectious diseases and critical care medicine. My work place is the University hospital for infectious diseases in Zagreb and I'm the head of the intensive care unit in that hospital. My interests are CNS infections, ARDS, ECMO, other severe infections and everything else connected to the ICU. My current focus is, as it probably is to every other ICU doctor in the world, on the COVID 19 patients and how to improve the outcome of the most severe cases. Hopefully, this meeting will also shed at least some light on the issues we are coping with on everyday basis.
