Kristina Bajema is an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer in the Respiratory Diseases Branch at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She completed her infectious disease fellowship training at the University of Washington where she also received her M.D. and M.Sc. Her research has covered many areas in infectious diseases and public health, including vaccine-preventable respiratory diseases, COVID-19, tuberculosis, and HIV.
