Milner Staub completed her Infectious Disease fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in 2019. During her second year of fellowship, she was also named a Leadership in Epidemiology, Antimicrobial Stewardship and Public Health (LEAP) Fellow. She is most interested in antimicrobial stewardship and antibiotic resistance, with a particular focus on the outpatient setting. During her time as a LEAP fellow, Dr. Staub worked with Vanderbilt University Medical Center's antimicrobial stewardship team and the Tennessee Department of Health to evaluate prescribers' outpatient antimicrobial prescribing patterns in adult and pediatric populations across Tennessee. She is currently a VA Quality Scholar where she is pursuing her Masters in Public Health and investigating methods to reduce inappropriate outpatient antibiotic use across a large heatlhcare clinic system.
