Assistant Professor
Baylor College of Medicine
A native to Texas, I have gradually worked my way towards Houston while first obtaining a Medical Degree from the University of Texas at Houston, now McGovern Medical School. At this time, I became increasingly interested in public health, research, and informatics. I stayed at McGovern Medical School an additional 3 years for residency in the Department of Family and Community Medicine. After residency, I was accepted into a research fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine. During this time, while working on several different projects and publications, I sought out formal training in research and clinical informatics.
My primary mentor through this process has been Dr. Larissa Grigoryan. With her help and guidance, I have found success in several endeavors with projects related to antibiotic resistance, particularly in the outpatient setting. Since becoming an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine, I have continued my work and professional growth with the assistance of Dr. Grigoryan, Dr. Roger Zoorob, and Dr. Barbra Trautner.
