Carolina Reyes, PhD is Senior Director of Health Economics & Market Access at Vir Biotechnology, an immunology company focused on infectious diseases. She leads a team of researchers focused on generating clinical, economic and patient-centered evidence to address the unmet need in treating and preventing serious infectious diseases. Throughout her career, Dr. Reyes has developed health economics strategies to facilitate favorable reimbursement and market access for catheter ablation, intracranial stents (Boston Scientific), six new oncology therapies (Genentech), and next-generation sequencing (Roche Diagnostics).
She has over 55 publications in Blood, The Oncologist, Cancer, JAMA Dermatology, Annals of Hematology, Leukemia & Lymphoma, Melanoma Research, National Bureau of Economic Research, Value in Health and Journal of Managed Care and Specialty Pharmacy. She serves on the Scientific Advisory Board at the University of Washington’s CHOICE Institute and is an adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of California San Francisco, School of Pharmacy.
