Melissa Klein, MPH is a medical student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed her MPH at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health. Her current research focuses on risk factors for vertical transmission of Chagas disease in Bolivia. She also serves as study coordinator of COFF-NC (COVID-19 in Farming and Food processing industries in North Carolina), an ongoing observational study at UNC. In her free time, Melissa enjoys trumpet playing, hiking, and baking.
