Rachel is an Epidemiology and Information Science Fellow in the CDC's Influenza Division on the Applied Research and Modeling team. She helps with project coordination and data management for the U.S. Influenza Hospitalization Surveillance Network (FluSurv-NET) and also assisted in standing up the COVID-19-Associated Hospitalization Surveillance Network (COVID-NET) in March 2020. She earned her Master's in Public Health in May 2019 at the University of Minnesota School of Public Health, where she majored in Epidemiology and minored in Biostatistics.
