Alice I. Kim, MD is the Medical Director of Cleveland Clinic’s Inpatient Care Coordination as well as Medical Director of the Long Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) program. As a member of Cleveland Clinic’s Enterprise Medical Operations team, her role includes directing and implementing the integration and process improvements for patient throughput and post acute care. She completed her Internal Medicine/Pediatrics residency and Infectious Diseases fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic and then joined as staff in the Department of Infectious Diseases in 2003. She also serves as the Director of Infection Control at Cleveland Clinic’s LTACH and Inpatient Rehabilitation Facilities (IRF) and leads the Antibiotic Stewardship Program at the LTACH and Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). On a national level, Dr. Kim currently serves as Vice Chair for the Infectious Disease Society of America’s (IDSA) Clinical Affairs Committee.
