Ana Verónica Halperin graduated from Universidad de Buenos Aires School of Medicine and finished her Internal Medicine training in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She continued her work in Madrid were she completed her training as Clinical Microbiologist at Hospital Universitario Ramón y Cajal between 2016 y 2020. Currently she works in the Clinical Microbiology Department at the same hospital, were she is also Chief Resident.
She participates in different traslational research projects in various topics: bacteriemia diagnosis and reporpousing of non antimicrobial drugs for treatment of cronic infections in cystic friosis patients.
