Brian J. Werth, PharmD is an Associate Professor of Pharmacy at the University of Washington. Dr. Werth is residency trained in adult acute care and fellowship trained in infectious diseases. His research interest spans all aspects of antimicrobial resistance and antimicrobial pharmacodynamics. His interdisciplinary translational research program is primarily focused on understanding the mechanisms of cross-resistance among glycopeptides, lipopeptides, and lipoglycopeptides in Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) using multi-omics techniques.
