Infectious Disease Physician
Metro Infectious Disease Consultants
I graduated from Rush Medical College in 1981 and stayed there for my Internal Medicine Residency (3 years), Chief Medical Resident (1 year), and ID fellowship (2 years). In 1987 I went into private practice. In 1994 I helped form Metro Infectious Disease Consultants with Russ Petrak MD and Robert Fliegelman MD. Our group is over 100 ID doctors in seven states doing in- and outpatient rounds, Antibiotic and Biologic Infusion therapy, Wound Care, HIV clinics and teaching Internal Medicine residents in several Hospitals in Chicago. My special source of interest is with oral Fecal Transplants for Clostridium difficile disease.
