Dr. Bradley is a Professor of Internal Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of Michigan and Hospital Epidemiologist for the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System. She is currently the Editor-in-Chief for the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America’s (SHEA) journal Infection Control Hospital Epidemiology and President of the Michigan Infectious Diseases Society. She is also the Chair for the Standard Practice & Guidelines Committee for the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA); she has been involved in the development of many guidelines related to infection prevention and control for the IDSA, SHEA, and the American Geriatrics Society. Dr. Bradley’s research has focused on the epidemiology and prevention of infections in older adults and especially in nursing home residents.
