Ruiyang Qin (Student Member, IEEE) received his B.S. degree in Automation with joint program from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and University of Pennsylvania in 2013, M.S. degree from Virginia Tech in 2016, and PhD degree the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, USA, 2022.
His main research interests include high quality factor self-resonant coil design for wireless power transfer, and high-frequency WBG-based wireless power transfer system for EV applications.
