Veronica Villarreal, MHA/MBA is the Chief Ambulatory Officer at DHR Health who oversees over 75 multi specialty clinics in the Rio Grande Valley, TX. She is responsible for over 1200 employees that work alongside 200 providers.
Being a passionate life long learner, Veronica is a certified medical coder, certified medical office manager, certified medical insurance specialist and a certified Maxwell leadership coach.
After spending the majority of her career in revenue cycle and clinic operations, Veronica knows how a service lines’ success for quality patient care requires the collaboration from numerous clinical and non-clinical departments.
Veronica has focused on creating standardized and innovative processes to be able to increase employee, patient and physician satisfaction. Her ongoing initiative to role model a servant leadership culture is extremely important to her inner success of making an impact on others.
She strongly believes in providing the resources needed to provide the best patient care which includes staff training and strategic growth to meet the demands of the community’s needs.
