Amato Amarain is the President and CEO of Amato Consulting Group. He was recently the Chief Financial Officer of the Combined Medical Group of RWJBarnabas Health where he had been managing the growth and stability of the Medical Group providers for the last 3 years and was responsible for the financial oversight as well as all reporting for the Combined Medical Group. Before joining RWJBarnabas Health, he served as Vice President of Finance for Northwell Health Physician Partners. During his nine years with Northwell Health, he guided the growth of the group that more than tripled in revenue and drove the expansion of employed physicians more than five-fold. Amato has served in leadership and consultancy roles for more than 20 years in health care finance. His roles include time at the New York City-based Continuum Health Partners and as a consultant for PriceWaterhouseCoopers, LLP to national health care systems, such as Covenant Health Systems, NYU Medical Center, the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Stanford Medical Center.
