Jacki Jacox, MPA, CPA, is a Director of Healthcare Consulting and Financial Advisory at Mazars, a leading international audit, tax, and advisory firm with US and international headquarters in New York, New York and Paris, France, respectively. In 2022, she was nominated and selected by CPA Practice Advisor as one of the nation’s top 40 tax and accounting professionals under the age of 40 who will help lead the professions of accounting and tax services into the future.
Jacki is an exemplary, innovative leader with more than a decade of experience in public and private accounting. She regularly manages and executes fair market value and commercially reasonable provider compensation opinions, physician-owned practice buy-in and buy-out valuations, physician practice M&A due diligence and business valuations, clinical practice management and accounting, provider relief fund reporting and single audits, Management Services Organization start-ups and administrative fee valuations, fee schedule analyses, California health plan financial statement analyses and projections, and California health plan Knox-Keene licensing applications.
Jacki enjoys learning, problem solving, strategizing, and innovating. She recently took two concepts, physician compensation analysis and heatmap risk assessments, and combined them together to create a visual provider compensation risk assessment process to enable organizational leaders to better visualize their provider compensation risks using heatmap methodology.
Jacki graduated with high distinction from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) with a Bachelor of Science in accounting and minors in economics and communication studies. She then earned her Master’s degree in Professional Accountancy (MPA) from UNL. During her collegiate career she studied abroad at Oxford University in England with a focus in international economics and with a UNL Pan Pacific Study Tour of Southeast Asia and Australia with a focus in global entrepreneurship.
