Diane Weiss, CPC, CPB, CHRI, is the vice president of revenue integrity and education with RestorixHealth. In this role, Weiss overseas several internal auditing processes as well as monitors all external (CMS) payer audit activity and programs. She also oversees the coding team and provides reimbursement and denial management for the organization’s out-patient and professional services divisions. She works closely with senior leadership on a national and regional basis and serves on the audit and compliance committee. She provides general coding, billing, and documentation education to all internal staff as well as to the providers and and their staff who provide care in the wound care centers that RestorixHealth manages. Weiss and her audit team participate in all external auditing follow up calls with all commercial and government payers, particularly through the Supplemental Medical Review Contractor discussion and education process, as well as all follow up education provided through CMS’ Targeted Probe and Educate program.
Prior to joining RestorixHealth, Weiss was the internal Medicare consultant for Ochsner Health System, following 12 years of service with a Medicare contractor (Pinnacle Medicare Services) as a provider relations education specialist. Weiss is a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) and Certified Professional Biller (CPB) as credentialled with AAPC, and recently obtained the National Association of Healthcare Revenue Integrity’s (NAHRI) Certification in Healthcare Revenue Integrity (CHRI).
