Payer contracting is a process that remains at the forefront of healthcare organizational financial oversight and remaining proactive in this endeavor is key. However, other administrative facets must be reviewed and optimized aside from the rate reviews. This session is designed to help you identify processes, policies and operational routines important to your practice. Doing so will assist with reducing administrative hassle, reduce costs and improve care quality. Creating processes for implementing contract modifications after negotiations end and identifying resources needed to perform routine reviews work best when leveraging staff, billing data and internal policies. Although all successful rate negotiations ultimately help our organizations, a more comprehensive effort look will lead us to better outcomes overall.
