Health systems and medical groups are challenged with the highest inflation increases in the last 40 years along with an ongoing pandemic, the Great Resignation, staffing shortages, tight financial and capital constraints, competition in new markets, and working on the Triple Aim of improving the individual experience of care, improving the health of populations, and reducing the per-capita costs for care. With that backdrop, the speaker will draw upon the successful experiences of medical groups across the United States and share the top 20 revenue-enhancing or cost-saving initiatives that medical groups have pursued. The lessons learned from these medical practices can guide us to reimagine the way care is delivered through dyad partnerships, team-based care, and improved organizational culture. Ultimately, the participant will have multiple resources and tools available including SBARs, A3s, and checklists to incorporate into one's own practice.
Learning Objectives:
Discover the numerous ways that medical practices can enhance revenue or reduce costs.
Produce a plan to incorporate at least one of the learned strategies into one's medical practice.
Apply strategies in one's own practice toward improving revenue or reducing costs.
