Service line organizations have significant opportunities to bolster revenue production, manage quality and costs, and align physicians with the sponsoring institution. This session will help institutions develop strategies in four areas — revenue enhancement, clinical variation reduction, cost/quality measures alignment, employed/independent physician engagement/education — to succeed in value-based contracts. Clinical and administrative leaders building their service line capabilities, or considering doing so, will learn detailed strategies to improve their ability to succeed in value-based contracts. Best practices and lessons learned will be shared on governance and leadership, physician alignment and quality and cost measurement across the continuum of care.
