This session will offer insider tips from an expert who spent 18 years on the payer side of the industry, with practical approaches to overcome these challenges and stay on track. The speakers will address gathering contracts and subsequent amendments and related contract fee schedules; inventorying and analyzing findings; creating a renegotiation strategy and timeline; sending proper notice to renegotiate or terminate; modeling and analyzing offers and counteroffers; negotiating and/or managing contract provisions; closing deals and maintaining contractual relationships. Attendees will receive a contract inventory tool to help launch their project when they return to the office. This in-depth, start-to-finish approach to payer contracting will benefit new and seasoned practice administrators alike.
