Olivia Gilbert, MD is a PGY-1 neurosurgery resident at the University of North Carolina (UNC) in Chapel Hill. Her research mentor is Michael Galgano, MD, a spinal oncology and deformity surgeon at UNC. Her academic interests include pediatric, spine, fetal, and global neurosurgery. Outside of neurosurgery, she is a concert pianist and enjoys directing the local children's choir.
