Tariq Z Issa, BA, is a rising fourth-year medical student at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Over the past year, between his third and fourth years of medical school, he pursued research as a research fellow within the division of spine surgery at Rothman Orthopaedic Institute. Tariq will return to medical school this year to complete his degree and apply to orthopedic surgery residency.
