This will be a comprehensive session to educate all IRs regarding medicolegal issues and how they impact our daily practice. This is a very diverse panel of experts, including a female IR/DR resident that has her law degree.

Learning Objectives:

The session will focus on problematic cases resulting in a coomplication. The discussion will be geared towards establishing negligence in the case.
The concept of identifying negligence during a case will be emphasized, with the understanding that a case is always defendable if a panel of physicians establish that there is no negligence involved.
