Aimee K. Armstrong, MD, FAAP, FACC, FSCAI is the Director of Cardiac Catheterization & Interventional Therapies at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, where she is also a Professor of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. After graduating with her B.S. in Biology from the University of Michigan, she obtained her medical degree at Northwestern University Medical School. She then completed her pediatric training at Indiana University’s Riley Hospital for Children and her pediatric cardiology and interventional cardiology training at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. She worked as an interventional cardiologist for 11 years at the University of Michigan, where she also served as the Associate Director of the Pediatric Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories. Dr. Armstrong is the Director of the Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Program at Nationwide Children's Hospital and formed the Congenital Heart Collaborative Fetal Cardiac Intervention Team. She is also the Co-Director of the International Symposium on 3D Imaging for Interventional Catheterization in CHD (3DI3) conference held annually since 2016.
