I’m a researcher in medical imaging at CNRS and the Centre de Résonance Magnétique des Systèmes Biologiques (Bordeaux, France).
My work focuses on the development of new imaging methods, allowing to follow in real time the good progress of interventional procedures under MRI.
I am particularly interested in the monitoring of thermoablation procedures. These procedures aim at destroying pathological tissues via a localized energy deposit. Different minimally invasive medical devices such as laser, radiofrequency or microwave or non-invasive devices such as high intensity ultrasound can be used.
