Dr Gaurav Gulsin is a trainee cardiologist, aspiring academic, and BHF Clinical Research Training Fellow at the University of Leicester and NIHR Leicester Biomedical Research Centre. His major research focus is the impact of type 2 diabetes on cardiovascular disease, assessed using advanced cardiac imaging techniques. He is currently in the final year of his doctoral research, studying the impact of lifestyle interventions on subclinical cardiac dysfunction in working-age adults with type 2 diabetes.
