Clinical Radiologist

Dr. Erica Tirr (MBChB, MSc, MRSC, DO-HNS, FRCR) is a newly appointed cardiovascular & thoracic radiologist working at Guy's & St. Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust in London, UK. Her main subspecialty focus is on cardiac multi-modality imaging, with a particular interest in adult congenital heart disease. She has a background in cardiothoracic surgery and has previously held full-time and part-time posts in medical education. She has been on the Editorial Boards of several scientific journals – most recently the ‘European Heart Journal - Case Reports’, as well as the Royal College of Radiologists’ official journal ‘Clinical Radiology.’ Following her success as the social media lead for the British Society of Cardiovascular Imaging, she has had a number of formal roles launching and promoting radiology and cardiovascular imaging organisations on social media platforms, and is proud to be an ambassador for the expanding international community of Women in Cardiac Imaging.
