Prof. Saul Myerson is a consultant cardiologist at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, UK. He has 20 years’ experience of CMR and leads the clinical CMR service in Oxford, including advanced and congenital imaging, in addition to being head of the cardiac imaging group in Oxford (including all 4 cardiac imaging modalities). He has extensive experience of all areas of CMR, with a particular interest in CMR in valve disease. He is an associate professor at the University of Oxford and his clinical and research interests are primarily in heart valve disease and aortic disease, and he has published over 100 peer reviewed papers.
He has given many national and international lectures and is editor of the Oxford Handbooks of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance, Cardiology Emergencies, and Valve Disease. He qualified from the University of Bristol and completed further training in London and Oxford.
