Having grown up in Zimbabwe and Mauritius, I went to South Africa to study electrical engineering and went on to do a PhD on neuro motion correction in MRI with Ernesta Meintjes and Andre van der Kouwe (Harvard/MIT) at the University of Cape Town. For the past six year I have been at the University of Oxford Centre for Clinical Magnetic Resonance Research (OCMR) working on 7T cardiac MRI with a focus on motion correction, high resolution, and atrial imaging, I am currently a BHF CRE transitional intermediate fellow.
